but these trees reminded me of Urban Light with a view of Levitated Mass on the other side of the museum.

One needn’t travel to Berlin to see what’s left of the Wall. The longest stretch outside of the city sits across the street from LACMA (the Los Angeles County Museum of Art) in front of the Wende Museum.
If you wander by, be sure to look at the back side which is also painted.

The current exhibit at the Claremont Museum of Art is open until January 6. It’s entitled Primal Nature: Animalia by Women in Post-War Claremont.

This is the first such book sharing receptacle I had ever seen. It’s on W 9th St.

The Gumby House with the little succulent stand also has a book share.
This little cart is in front of Crepes de Paris in Village West, and the one on the right is across the street from Wolfe’s on Harvard Ave.

A number of trees around Claremont have branches parallel to the earth.
After a weekend in Palm Springs, this is my favorite photo. I particularly enjoy the light through cholla which makes them look fuzzy, when, in reality, they are anything but.
Tomorrow is Dia de los Muertos, and Claremont will commemorate the holiday on Saturday with a second annual celebration.
