National Poetry Month: Ice Cream

In honor of National Poetry Month, Claremontography posts will highlight poems throughout April. Some will be old chestnuts, others new discoveries, some short, others long, all of them true and represented by photos.

Claremont’s own Bert and Rocky’s Ice Cream recently underwent a remodeling.

While I have no before photos, here are some recent peeks into the fresh space.

The poem? You might think of Wallace Stevens’ The Emperor of Ice Cream, but I’m guessing you may never have heard of this one about Einstein’s first day at Princeton.

Einstein and the Ice Cream Cone by Katharine O’Brien. Enjoy!
