Backstage with the Orchestra

The end is near. The end of the colleges’ semester is approaching. That means performing groups get to, well, perform. Show y’all what we’ve been working on when we say we’ve been practicing. The Claremont Concert Orchestra, in conjunction with the Claremont Concert Choir and the Claremont Chorale performed Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana last weekend to two sold-out crowds. Here are some behind-the-scenes views, à la Degas.

Concert arrival. Make sure you are at the correct entrance.

Warming up, taking roll, checking last-minute texts.

Looking onstage from backstage.

Onstage, anticipating.

All done! Standing ovations! Now, turn in your music and see you in the fall!
